Welcome Back to Second Semester!

Welcome back, Geographers! Even though this semester has gotten off to an odd start with a snow day then a holiday, we're steadily making our way through January.

In AP Human Geography, we've finished Unit 4 (Political Geography) and will be starting Unit 5 (Agriculture). Make sure you're finding your copy of "Fast Food Nation" for our book study!

In World Geography, we started our Economics unit at the start of the semester. We've learned about types of economic systems, types of economic activities, government interaction in the economy, and levels of development. Honors students researched countries and created "development profiles" to share with their peers and practice classifying development level by GDP/Capita, literacy rate, and more.
We quizzed on Unit 4.1 on Tuesday, January 18th. If you missed that quiz, make sure to come to tutoring! We took the first half of the Africa map quiz last Friday, January 14th. If you missed that or need to retake it, again - tutoring!
