Model United Nations information posted!

Model United Nations participants -

Online registration has opened for Model UN. Go to http://www.tennesseeyig.org/un/register/index.php to register. You MUST know your team for the conference (3-4 people) to register because you will have to enter all their information together. You will rank country choices. Country assignments start AUGUST 29th so the earlier the better.

Model United Nations Conference B is November 18-20th in Murfreesboro, TN at the Embassy Suites. The conference cost is $390. This money is paid to the YMCA, who hosts the conference, and can be split into a payment plan. Also, scholarship money is available based on need. In both situations, students must talk to the YMCA of Memphis representative, Kelley Clack.

The first of four mandatory meetings for Youth in Government is Tuesday, September 6th at Memphis University School at Park and Ridgeway in the Lower School Auditorium (which is behind the football field in the far corner of the campus).

Our meeting schedule is posted on the YiG/MUN tab at the top. There are four mandatory meetings.

For more information about the Model United Nations conference, visit my YiG/Model UN tab above.
